Meet Max and Kisa
CENTER POINT, INDIANA — One of the most memorable places to visit in Indiana is the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, 64 miles southwest of Indianapolis in Center Point Indiana. The rescue center is a non-profit organization that is home to more than 200 exotic cats. EFRC provide a permanent home for exotic felines that have been abused, abandoned or for some reason have nowhere to live out their lives.
Two of the cats we are featuring here is Max, a male tiger, and Kisa, a female lion. Both are 12-years-old and have spent most of their life at the center entertaining the rescue center's guests. Max is one of our biggest cats, topping 600 pounds and Kisa is one of a few cats that have a neurological disorder. Max and Kisa are great friends and enjoy each other's company, well most of the time. Kisa can be a bit bossy with Max. Max has learned to deal with her crankiness and loves her despite her mean looks. Guests will find Max on EFRC t-shirts, hoodies, and magnets. He is a very handsome boy, and if you look closely at Max's face, you will see that his stripes make the number 12 above his left eye. When visiting, look for Max's number 12 and remind Kisa she needs to be nice to him!
