Hauler Parade & Fan Fest Friday, Sept. 7 on Main Street in Speedway
Plan to attend the Hauler Parade, and Fan Fest on Main Street in Speedway on Friday, Septenber 7 as NASCAR fans gear up for the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The Fan Fest takes place from 4:30pm; Hauler Parade, 6 p.m. The fest features fun activities and opportunities to engage with Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers heading into the race weekend. Participating drivers include two-time Brickyard winner Kyle Busch, reigning Brickyard winner Kasey Kahne, 2010 Brickyard winner Jamie McMurray, Kurt Busch, Ross Chastain, and Corey LaJoie. |
Fan activities include Racer Relays, Minute to Win games and racing trivia for kids and a Flippy Cup tournament for adults, with participation by drivers. Inflatable activity areas also will be available for kids. The Monster Energy girls and IMS mascots Axel and Alley also will be on hand.
The first 18 kids (12 and under) to register when the event starts can have the chance to participate in games with drivers, with the first 10 adult fans to register also getting an opportunity to play games with drivers. Registration starts when gates open at 4:30 p.m. |
The Hauler Parade will begin at 6 p.m., starting at the Allison Transmission Lot at 4044 W. Michigan St. McMurray and Kahne will ride in the parade and then participate in a question-and-answer session with IMS President Doug Boles on the Fan Fest stage after the parade. The Hauler Parade is a Brickyard fan favorite as many colorful NASCAR transporters make their way to Main Street, creating photo opportunities for fans along the way.
