Trailblazer: Dr. Mildred Jefferson

In 1951, Dr. Mildred Jefferson (1926–2010) was the first black woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School with 28 Honorary degrees. She dedicated her life to caring for the sick and exposing the evil of eugenics. She co-founded the National Right to Life and is credited with bringing Ronald Reagan into the Prolife movement.
