Join us for the first hike in our series of fun and empowering events, where women come together to support wildlife conservation efforts. The hike will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 3-5 pm, at the Scott Starling Nature Sanctuary Trail located at 7840 W 56th St, Eagle Creek Park. Please note that space is limited to 12 people per hike, and the cost of each hike is $25.

  • Date: 4/20/2024 03:00 PM - 4/20/2024 05:00 PM
  • Location 7840 West 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN, USA (Map)

During the hike, we will learn different outdoor skills, including map and compass reading, purifying water from a stream, identifying flora and fauna, and engaging in a nature meditation with other wildlife lovers. The hikes will be between 2-4 miles long, and a light snack will be provided. A list of suggested items to bring/wear will be provided prior to the hike to help everyone prepare.

The hikes will be led by Patty Haltom, a Professional Outdoor Educator and Wilderness Guide, and the founder and owner of Project Reteach Outdoor Adventures, an all-women's outdoor adventure company based in Indianapolis.
