Lisa Schmitz manages the Mars Hill Arts Center and owns “Where Pigs Fly and Such,” a floral design company noted for wedding and event flower arrangements.
Lisa and her husband, John Schmitz, are founders of the Mars Hill Arts Center and opened the Arts Center on August 3, 2018.
The Schmitz’s purchased the building at a bank foreclosure Sheriff’s sale and the building was in poor condition. So John Schmitz, a 30-year contractor, stripped the building and the roof, rebuilding it to the lovely building now used for many purposes.
Lisa Schmitz manages the Arts Center and owns “Where Pigs Fly and Such,” a floral design company noted for wedding and event flower arrangements.
The Mars Hill Art Center offers crafts, art, painting, flower arranging, and pottery classes. In addition, the building is available for community events, e.g., Tae Kwan Do classes, chess classes, civil association, and other meetings, and serves as a welcoming place for neighbors. In addition, the Arts Center rents the facility for weddings, birthday parties, meetings, etc.
For more information, contact Lisa Schmitz at 317-340-0321 or firstname.lastname@example.org for Art Center classes and building rental or at email@example.com for floral designs.
