EV BRACKET RACING

In 2022, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park introduced a new category of E.T. Bracket Racing that includes electric vehicles (EVs). EV racers will compete during Wild Wednesday events, which are separate from the traditional Brown's Oil E.T. Bracket Series race weekends. EV racers will have the opportunity to race for points as well as compete in the NHRA Division 3 E.T. Bracket Finals in September

Entry for EV Bracket competitors will cost $35, and buybacks will only be available if the number of cars in a field exceeds seven for a given day. The buyback price will be $15. If there are seven or fewer cars entered for a given day, only the winner will receive a payout of $100. If there are eight or more cars entered, the junior dragster payout scale will be used.

First-round pairings will be determined randomly. For more information, please refer to an update to the 2023 Brown's Oil ET Bracket Series rulebook.
