Made in America Convention
MADE IN AMERICA 2019 brought together American professionals of all backgrounds at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, October 3-6, 2019. The event was the largest collection of American-made products and manufacturing companies ever assembled under one roof. The four-day exposition featured more than 800 exhibitors, all with the common goal of growing American manufacturing. Together, this network of industrial professionals, conscious consumers and keynote speakers raised awareness for the economic, environmental and community impact of U.S. manufacturing. The trade show featured a variety of brands and products, from textile to transportation to aerospace.

Clermont Police Department — National Night Out
Clermont, Indiana, August 6, 2019 — National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. The Clermont Police Department held a fun night out at the Clermont Lions Club Park. There was food, raffles, games, prices and the kids took on the police in a water balloon fight. Glenn Rightsell Memorial
Glenn Rightsell was trying to fix his daughter's disabled car on US231 in Crawfordsville when a State police officer stopped to investigate. The officer shot Glenn because he thought Glenn was reaching for his gun. Glenn later died at the hospital. Family and friends held a vigil and protest calling for answers and accountability.
